Nestled amongst the rainforest trees in Far North Queensland on the fringes of a busy tourist town Port Douglas, this TreeHouse puts Tarzan's hut to shame. Penelope is the host here and she welcome's you on arrival to get you acquainted with the TreeHouse.

In the cane cutting season July- September you will be sure to see the busy cane trains and harvesters hard at work with the rail way tracks on our street. Its an astounding location with dramatic scenery changes throughout the Mossman rangers. 

Take walks to a fresh water swimming hole or the historic 'Bump Track" for those of you whom like to hike is a 15 minute drive into the Mowbray hills. Day trips by car are easily accessible from the TreeHouse to: Mossman Gorge under 10 minutes. Daintree National Park/ Cape Tribulation 1.5 hours. Great Barrier Reef 15 minutes. The Seaside village of Port Douglas is 15 minutes drive, with a beautiful beach, outstanding restaurants and variety of shops. More than 100 tours depart daily from Port Douglas ranging from luxury cruises to personal experiences diving, river snorkelling, fishing & 4WD adventure treks. Fresh local produce, cakes & jams on offer at the Mossman Markets on Saturday mornings, hand crafted locally made gifts & products for sale also at the Sunday Markets in Port Douglas. Guests at TreeHouse Retreat will require a car and a sense of adventure to enjoy all the area has to offer.
